Karan Johar’s ‘Stepmom’ the Bollywood remake of the American comedy which will star Kajol and Kareena Kapoor is not slated for this year’s October 1 release as reported by some section of the media.

Sourced say that October is the week but the date is not finalized as yet. The Indian film industry which very much believes in astrology, numerology, vaastu and all, normally avoid releasing their films during the period of ‘Shradh’ which is not considered to be fruitful.

Currently October 1 is the ‘tentative’ date and is not final, the correct picture will be cleared when Sony Pictures and Dharma Productions will take a joint call and decide if the plan changes.

Anyways the movie is still waiting to get its title, the movie which stars Kajol,

Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, is still being addressed as ‘Stepmom remake’
